That was a lovely time the other day, Garnet. Absolutely marvelous. I wouldn't mind another get-together in the near future. There are plenty more tales of my bravery in outer space where the rest of those came from.
It has also come to mind, looking at this handy calender of mine, that fifteen days remain until Christmas. This means that the general population of Poseidon has FIFTEEN DAYS REMAINING TO PURCHASE A GIFT FOR ONE ARNOLD J. RIMMER. I know what you're thinking, there's barely any time left, but never fear! Right, so it's getting to be about time for finals. I'm not much in the mood to study for those, but at least I've got some good things sent in from home to eat while I'm doing that. You blokes in the quad can help yourselves to anything in the kitchen and common room. Same goes for you if you come by, Harry. They sent me even more than I can eat myself, believe it or not.
Huh. Speaking of quadmates... Where'd that kid with the rabbit get to anyway?

Thanks for all the help girls, um — and Jack. I really appreciate it all, especially Miss Morrigan and Jack’s help. And the tea helped, thanks Miss Maron! Ah but, mm, Jack you didn’t have to go with me to the store and it was really nice of you to do that. Even though I had to yell at you for it… Oh and the ice cream was good too, so thanks for that too!
I’m making use of the blankets that Miss Morrigan got for me, drinking the tea Miss Maron brought over and I took some advil and not moving much like both Miss Morrigan and Mama told me to. Going to class was freaking hard and right now I really hate health class because of this — but its okay, I mean, it’s not the class’ fault or anything. But that’s what we’re talking about right now. So it makes me angry.
…I don’t ever get angry at something like that!

That was something. Not that I'm planning to use any of these phone numbers, but the thought is appreciated. Pearl (or Rinoa, whoever sees this first)- there should be a large box from the local hospital outside of your (Pearl's) quad. Inside you'll find a few sheet sets and blankets, as well as a smaller heating cabinet to store them in.

Been something of a while, hasn't it, loves, lasses and letches? You might say I took something of a wrong turn, got us set far off course from where I'd intended. Anyone who'd been aboard with me, have yourselves an "A" for a few assignments. Those who had the misfortune of missing out, bring me the finest bottle of rum you can procure, consider your grade negotiable based on the quality of said rum.
Not in my classes? Bring me rum anyway! Who's to say I can't parlay with my fellow instructional authorities and have your grade renegotiated?
